Nan Fung Group’s Hotel Portfolio

Nan Fung Group is expanding its diverse portfolio into the hospitality sector with hotels in Hong Kong and China. These hotels will be operated by renowned international hotel management groups. To date, Nan Fung has two projects: Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin and Langham Place in Guangzhou, China.

Nan Fung Group’s first world-class hotel in Hong Kong will be managed by Marriott International which has hotel and apartment properties in 73 countries and territories worldwide. It is officially opened in March 2013.

Designed by P&T Architects & Engineers Ltd, one of South East Asia’s leading architects, the hotel is located at 1 On Ping Street, Sha Tin, on the east side of the Shing Mun River, set against the picturesque mountain backdrop of Ma On Shan Country Park.

Conveniently located, Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin is within a 5-minute walking distance to MTR Shek Mun Station (Ma On Shan Line), and the driving time to Tsim Sha Tsui is only 18 minutes.

Aimed at business travellers and leisure tourists, the hotel, which will be one of Hong Kong’s largest new hotels, offers 539 rooms ranging from different types of standard rooms and executive suites to deluxe suites a Presidential Suite.

Langham Place, Guangzhou

Designed by the renowned architect Aedas, this iconic hotel is part of Nan Fung’s integrated development offering commercial, shopping, trade, exhibition and hotel facilities at Pazhou, Guangzhou, where the signature Canton Trade Fairs are held.

In cooperation with Langham Hotels International, the hotel group will operate the property under their deluxe five-star brand of Langham Place. The 499-room hotel will feature a choice of Chinese and Asian cuisines, lifestyle entertainment and relaxation, as well as indoor and outdoor banqueting, meeting and exhibition facilities. Altogether there will be 6,890 square metres of MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Exhibition) space which can accommodate large events for up to 2,000 guests, making it one of the largest venues of its type in Guangzhou.

The hotel sets the milestone for the Group to diversify its investment into hospitality and Langham Place is expected to become a major landmark in Guangzhou.
