In other investments, we aim to diversify the portfolio by investing in different investment products, with separate portfolios aiming at medium to long term capital gain and stable cash flow.
A significant portion of Nan Fung's investment is in traditional vehicles including foreign currency, fixed deposits, stocks, bonds and structural products. The portfolio covers all the major financial markets of the world. To diversify its portfolio, Nan Fung also invests in private equity, with a special focus on technology and bio-tech companies. Fund investment would include equity funds, hedge funds, mezzanine funds, private equity funds and real estate funds.
Nan Fung also invests directly in real estate projects outside Hong Kong, including the Mainland, Korea, Japan and Europe. Nan Fung has also joined with HSBC to setup the HSBC NF China Real Estate Fund specializing in Mainland real estate investment opportunities.
