Quality Control Engineer

  • Implement and promote the Integrated Management System to all site staff of construction projects managed by the department.
  • Evaluate the implementation of the Integrated Management System on a regular basis through reviewing collected feedback from site staff and analysis on quality standard performance data trend.
  • Manage and execute quality programs and practices on construction sites in view of improvement in quality and overall efficiency.
  • Manage the site teams, consultants, subcontractors and client representatives in conducting regular reviews to determine adequacy in quality control and performance; provide advice and consultation on identified issues on quality control and planning throughout the construction process.
  • Manage and organize regular internal and external site audits and inspections to identify and correct potential non-conformance and ensure regulation compliance.
  • Review investigation findings on external/internal complaints for the purpose of developing appropriate quality standards, corrective action plans and preventive measures.
  • Manage and organize ISO system and quality control training programs to headquarter and site staff.
  • Devise testing and inspection procedures and quality standards.
  • Prepare, review, and verify reports on quality standards and planning.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and codes of practice for quality control and planning in all managed construction projects to ensure fulfillment of statutory and corporate requirements, and alignment across sites.
  • Coach, mentor and develop direct reports to ensure they have the competency to perform their roles.
  • Perform any ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the senior management regarding sustainability, environmental protection, wellness, technology.


  • Higher Diploma in Building/Quality Management (or related disciplines, Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
  • Certificate in Internal Audit for Integrated Management System (or related professional qualifications) preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control works.
  • Proficiency in Chinese and English
