Job Highlights

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental/ sustainability data, including establishment of a data collection system and conduct analysis on the environmental/ sustainability performance data, in energy, water, waste and other key consumption data
  • Conduct big data analysis to review the performance and identify decarbonization opportunities to support carbon neutrality roadmap and improve sustainability performance of the Group
  • Assess the Group’s carbon footprint and emissions reduction according to the international and/ or local Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting and reporting standards
  • Develop energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) / carbon emissions inventories, water footprints, waste footprints and other environmental inventories including data analysis, emission factor development, calculation methodology, web-system deployment and support clients’ third-party environmental reporting activities
  • Perform on-site and virtual carbon audits of facilities and portfolios to discover actionable opportunities for resource reduction that drive lower impact, deliver cost savings, and increase the efficiency and sustainability in the built environment
  • Prepare performance reports against the Group’s carbon neutrality targets with recommendations on improvements
  • Conduct internal audit and/ or external verification for collected data
  • Engage and liaise with relevant stakeholders in formulating and implementing decarbonization strategies and solutions for the Group’s
  • Provide administrative support sustainability programmes, campaigns, reports, audits and compliance for the Group
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor holder in Engineering or Science, or other relevant disciplines related to Building Services, Electrical, Environmental, Energy or Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in decarbonization or participating in environmental or sustainability projects in sizable organizations
  • Experience in sustainability and professional qualification/ membership related to energy, environmental or sustainability management
  • Knowledge of HVAC, BMS and/ or simulations/ modelling of better HVAC system operational efficiency
  • International accreditation in carbon auditing is a plus
  • Hands-on experience in project management as well as database establishment, maintenance and analysis, big data analysis, visualization platform, database management, data modelling and other business analytics or data visualization tools
  • Be familiar with carbon accounting and reporting standard based on the prevailing international and/or local practices or standards
  • Be able to carry out both quantitative and qualitative analysis independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel particularly in using pivot tables and VBA Excel, or any other data analysis and visualization tools
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be self-motivated, detail-minded, and able to work independently and proactively
  • Good team player in a cross-cultural working environment
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered for Manager position
