Legal Officer – Compliance

Responsibilities

• Report to the Group General Counsel
• Handle day-to-day FATCA/CRS compliance work (including self-certification forms) for the Group
• Liaise with banks and other business units of the Group in relation to FATCA/CRS matters
• Oversee the completion of FATCA/CRS registration and reporting in different jurisdictions
• Ensure the Group’s compliance with the statutory FATCA/CRS documentation requirements
• Keep abreast of the statutory FATCA/CRS policies and update the senior management where appropriate
• Perform any ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the senior management

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of accounting and FATCA/CRS regulations
• Strong willingness to learn with ability to pay attention to details
• Ability to work independently, meticulous, dedicated and self-motivated
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
