IT Manager – Infrastructure

Responsibilities
- To responsible for encompasses the management, operation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, which includes servers, networks, storage, systems, virtual machines, and public cloud providers
- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, both physical and virtual, to ensure optimal functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement IT infrastructure solutions that align with business requirements
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency
- To review and document the IT documentations, formulate, and perform the User Acceptance Test, detailed reports on projects progress, problems, and solutions
- Handle procurement processes related to IT infrastructure, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and equipment sourcing
- Manage tender processes for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to procurement guidelines and evaluating proposals from vendors
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, providing recommendations for enhancing the IT infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related disciplines
- At least 10 years’ relevant working experience as team lead in IT Infrastructure project
- Experience in CISCO, Aruba, Ruckus, FortiNet, Palo Alto, VMware, Microsoft AD and AAD is preferred
- Familiarity with public and private cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience in vendor management for infrastructure setup, project governance, implementation and change management
- Experience in procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and equipment sourcing
- Knowledge of tender processes and ability to evaluate proposals from vendors
- Solid experience on structural cabling, server room design and build, network and server architecture, IP CCTV and IP Phone systems
- Solid experience on managing large-scale network & server farm, including DR drill, performance/capacity monitoring, backup/restore and troubleshooting etc.
- Experience in infrastructure implementation on complex building/mall will definitely an advantage
- A good team player with good analytical & problem-solving skills, self-motivated, positive attitude, fast-learning, energetic and able to perform in challenging environment
- Good interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication, in both English and Chinese, including Putonghua
