Nan Fung Textiles Limited was founded
Dr. Chen Din Hwa’s vision had laid the foundation of our future achievements.
1960
First adopter
As Hong Kong’s largest cotton yarn manufacturer, we were the first to introduce the open-end spindle technology.

We became listed
Nan Fung Textiles Limited was formally listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange. In 1989, it was subsequently privatized and became part of privately-owned Nan Fung Group .

Great strides in Hong Kong
We built the largest private residential development — Nan Fung Sun Chuen — in the city.
1985
Entry into the construction industry
We established Chun Yip and Bordon Construction Companies Limited.

Pivotal Steps in China
Our first investment in Mainland China — Tifen Industrial Park — was completed.
2007
Infra-Red NF China
Under the partnership with HSBC, we established the “HSBC Nan Fung China Real Estate Fund” with AUM of USD700 million. It was later renamed as “Infra-Red NF China Real Estate Fund”.
2011
Reputation recognised
We were awarded “Hong Kong Top Ten Developers” by BCI Asia.
2012
Marking our presence in the international debt market
We obtained the Investment Grade Credit Rating from Moody’s, Standard & Poor and Fitch Ratings, and issued our first MTN note totaling US$600 million listed on SGX. In the same year, we were recognized by our presence in the capital markets and were awarded “Borrower of the Year” by Finance Asia.
2015
Forterra Trust
We acquired and privatized SGX-listed Forterra Trust as part of Nan Fung Group's business in Greater China.
Setting foot in America
We launched a new management company platform with Innovo Property Group to invest in US properties.
2018
Solidifying our presence in London
We acquired a majority stake in Endurance Land and built an experienced team in London with the capability to carry our high-quality asset enhancement and developments in London.
2019
Nan Fung Life Sciences Real Estate
We established Nan Fung Life Sciences Real Estate in Boston to acquire, develop and manage life sciences related properties across the US.

The Mills
We invested HK$700 million in the revitalization of Nan Fung’s textile mills. The project was completed in 2018.
2016
Brand innovation
New Frontier, our affiliated Venture Builder, was established to focus on healthcare, innovation, education and finance in Greater China.
2017
Nan Fung Life Sciences
Nan Fung Life Sciences launched two VC funds – Pivotal BioVenture Partners US and China – located in San Francisco and Shanghai respectively to invest in life sciences startups.
