Officer – Procurement

Responsibilities
- Arrange and control daily material procurement including co-ordination and negotiation with pre-construction/projects teams on major materials packages, prepare material contract documents, etc
- Solicit and consolidate tenders’ quotations and bids
- Analyze and evaluate prospective contractors and suppliers for purchase orders and works orders
- Process the material and works contracts for daily consumer goods, construction materials, etc
- Support the arrangement of the bidding session
- Prepare documentation for subcontract award including collecting end-user request and formulate reports with tender analysis, tender summary and unit rate comparison
- Perform the end-to-end process of contract execution, legal correction and valuation of payment
- Support the coordination with officers in-charge to issue additional purchase with approval due to over budget of the paid and payable invoice
- Conduct technical meetings and negotiations with end-user and subcontractors to verify that the quality standards and volumes meet requirements/compliance
- Maintain systems of venders’ documentation and evaluation by updating the competitiveness of current and potential suppliers
- Perform any ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the management
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Procurement, Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the procurement, building, quantity surveying or engineering industry
- Direct experience in handling tendering process
- Good PC skills in MS Words, Excel
- Proficient in English and Chinese
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Officer – Procurement
